Dust devils on Mars happen when the surface heats up enough to cause hot air to rise quickly through cooler air above it—more or less how they do on Earth too—or at least that is the idea based on current thinking because nobody is standing there with weather instruments checking things as they go down this process could create swirling columns of wind that pick up dirt particles along their way like nature’s vacuum cleaners skipping across red sands leaving light streaks behind that we can see from space.ES ¿Cómo funcionan esos remolinos polvorientos?
